There is just so much to tell!

After our 22 hours of travel we are now home. We were awake for about 36 hours so I went to sleep before midnight yesterday. This morning I woke up at 7, Ken was still sleeping like a rock so I let him and tried not to make any noise. Around 8.30 I was so starving so I had to get up, I tried so hard to be quiet, but Ken always wakes up anyway!

Since then I've been trying to figure out what to write about first, what's worth writing about and just how I can put my entire New York experience into a few blogs. I think I should rather make a movie, it would be so good!

We didn't walk a block without seeing something amazing, weird, crazy, beautiful or outrageous, I mean that literally so you can understand how I find it hard to put it all into words without missing out on anything.

Something I love about New York is that it makes me feel like I can do anything because in that small area there lives 1.6 million people who don't care what you look like, where you are from, what you wear and how you behave. It's like a real life freak-show where they are all crazy genius people allowed to take their crazy geniusness all the way. There are several hundred languages spoken in Manhattan and they have learned to get a long and have an open mind with an understanding of each other. It's quite remarkable and inspires me and so many others for an amazing reason.

Trying to capture the city in a way that does it justice with only words and pictures is going to be hard, but I will do my best! I will post as many posts about it as I can, stay tuned!
