Dublin Day 1

The travel yesterday went smoothly, we passed the time on the flights by watching Django Unchained, I love that movie!! We flew first from Bergen to Frankfurt and Frankfurt to Dublin. For some really annoying reason there is no direct flights between Dublin and Bergen! When we arrived at the hotel we went straight to a bar to have a drink. The hotel is located right next to Temple Bar (the area. It took me a long time to understand that Temple Bar was an area, not an actual bar). It was nice to hear the accent and listen to some live Irish music.

Today Ken and I went to Dun Laoghaire, a smaller town in Dublin county, which used to be our nearest town when we lived here. We went there to pick up Ken's new iPhone 5. It was really fun to go back, all sorts of memories pop up in your head and it's a lot of fun. I went to a shop and got really nice Belgian chocolate. Afterwards we went straight back to town to meet up with Luke and Fiona. Luke is Ken's childhood friend and one of his best friends still. Fiona is his girlfriend and we get a long so well and have become great friends so it's always fun to see them. We walked around shopping and looking around in some good shopping districts I hadn't actually seen before. Fiona always knows the little good stores that you don't hear about, but has great deals or really nice clothes. Later on we went for some sushi which was amazing!! We paid a fourth of what you pay for the same amount of great sushi in Norway, It was heaven!

Right now we are getting ready to see Lana Del Rey in Vicar Street. I'm so extremely excited I don't even know what to do with myself!! Haha!
